About four miles on route 11. This was a really hard run for me, coming off of a week long cold and getting back into my routine. My legs felt heavy and I felt weighed down and sluggish.
Today was a hard run for me, as you can see above. I can also tell that I’ve been slacking on my preventative maintenance (stretching, hip prehab) and I could really feel that today. Fortunately, my body is forgiving and patient with me. I listen to my body when it doesn’t feel *right* and do my best to make it better. It just goes to show that it doesn’t matter if you are a new exerciser or a veteran, you will have good days and hard days. But when you push through those hard days, it makes the good days that much sweeter. Hang in there!
Spent about 20 minutes post run working on my hips and flexibility. I already feel better!
