Yesterday, the hubs and I ran in a local 5k called Run For Their Lives. It’s a wonderful program that helps liberate victims of sexual slavery. They use their profits to fund safe houses for survivors and other needed services. You can find out more about their mission here, and also find a link to other races like this one.
Unfortunately, the hubs and I forgot our phones at the race, so we don’t have any pictures (doh!). I’ll be sure to update with any pictures we find from the race photographer.
Location: Bridgewater, VA
Distance: 3.1 Miles
Time: 21:20!!!!!!! I can’t believe it; that’s the fastest I’ve ever gone!! Stay tuned for an in-depth review of the race in a subsequent post.
