Ghost

A wanderer. His enemy. And an attraction that pulls them together across the continent.

Discipline. Control. Hyper-vigilance.

These are the statutes of Abel’s entire existence, the pillars that have kept him alive in the wilds without a clan. However, his monotonous days are abruptly transformed when a strange woman stumbles into his dream plane, opening his eyes to the beauty around him and the forgotten desires of his heart.

But she’s from within the walls of a human city. The embodiment of everything his people fear and loathe. In what world could they ever be together? Despite the uncertainty, Abel is powerless to resist her draw.

He would go.

He would always go to her.

And believe, as she did, that he was coming home.

Ghost is a companion novella for Unnatural, Dream Walker Book 1, offering select scenes from Abel's perspective. As such, readers should enjoy at least Unnatural before starting this quick read to fully appreciate the story and prevent spoilers.

Praise for Ghost

“HM DuVal weaves an exciting and heart-wrenching tale with beautiful prose. I was drawn in from the start and I can never get back to Pen and Abel’s story soon enough. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. Seeing the journey from Abel’s eyes adds more to their story than I could have believed.” -Amazon review

“I enjoyed reading Abel’s point of view! This book answered questions I had throughout the other two books! The whole series is a must read!” - Amazon review

“The pace and maturity of Ms. DuVal’s writing improves with each book she publishes. Her subtle use of tension between protagonists echoes at first a longing, and then the ultimate realization that in life the greatest tragedy is losing something you never had.” - Amazon review
